Avicii – Waiting for love. The world’s first 360 music video.

Swedish super DJ/producer releases new single with fully interactive video.

Co-produced with Martin Garrix, Avicii’s new single ‘waiting for love’ is pretty catchy. But what everyone is talking about is the music video.

Claiming to be the world’s first 360 music video, it is fully interactive and allows you to shift the camera position while you watch it. In partnership with YouTube and Kurt Schneider the video features dancers moving in and out of doors situated in a circle around the central camera hub.

While the technology is potentially ground breaking it is still very much in beta form. It is currently limited to Youtube’s six Space locations in New York, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Tokyo and São Paulo. As such, it might be some time before we many artists taking advantage of Youtube 360.
