Flashback Friday: Chris & James – Club for life

Join us as we go back to the 90s for this fine dance anthem

One of the big dance hits of 1994, Çlub for Life’ epitomises the sound of the super clubs of the time. Chris Day, James Bradley, James Wiltshire were Chris & James and this was one of the best efforts. A slab of pure adrenalin laced house music, Club for life was sure fill any dance floor of its time. Play it today and you could probably still fill floor as well!

How can you forget those classic lyrics of “I like the music, I, I, like the music, it makes me feel like pumping… It makes me feel like moving to the beat”. And “Out on the dance floor moving to the beat”. Well, that was about it for lyrics but it was really all about the beat and the piano anyway.

Chris & James took this to the top of the club chart but it never quite managed to secure huge commercial cross-over, maybe this has helped to keep its freshness more than 20 years later.
