Written by Michael on September 25, 2015
Remember this classic dance anthem from the mid 90s?
UK DJ and producer Tall Paul gave us one the biggest club anthems of the mid 90s with ‘Rock Da House’. This was the tune that made Paul famous.
Step back in time to the super clubs of the mid 90s and you Rock da house was sure to be on high rotation and guaranteed to fill the dance floor.
Collaborating with Hooj Choons’ Red Jerry, Tall Paul first released Rock Da House in 1994. It was later re-released in 1997 on VC Recordings. The second released managed to get Paul to number 11 on the UK charts.
Rock da house has seen remixes as recently as 2008 with Fedde Le Grande.
Paul has produced numerous top 20 hits including the club anthems Escrima ‘Deeper’ and ‘Train of Thought’. His highest charting track has been Camisra ‘Let Me Show You’ which made top 5.
Relive some hard house and screaching female vocals, typical of the mid 90s and get ready for the weekend!
Check out the original and best mix of Rock da house as well as the strange video clip that was played on MTV back in the day.
