The Fatboy Slim Collection due for release next week

The Fatboy Slim Collection is massive. Four CDs of Slim indulgence, The Collection has three CDs of hand picked original club hits and the fourth being Slim non-stop in the mix.

Slim says “I feel like I have lived through a golden age of club culture and electronic dance music. Though everyone now has access to all music through the internet and machines can do the mixing for you, it is still the skill of selecting the right tune and playing it at the right moment that makes us DJs still indispensable for a good night out. As long as people want to lose themselves to music, hedonism and that collective euphoria that can only be found on a dance floor, festival or the occasional beach then you will need us to provide the soundtrack.”

“All the tunes in my forthcoming ‘Collection’ album have been anthems in my sets over the years, every one has a special memory for me, I hope you enjoy them as much as I’ve enjoyed using them to make people smile and dance.”

As well as enjoying all the anthems, Slim has included an exclusive dub remix of ‘Uptown Funk’. A complete rethink on the Bruno Mars hit, Fatboy Slim collaborates with Jerome Robins and Hollywood star Idris Elba, who provides the vocals.

The Fatboy Slim Collection is due for release on 25th May.
