Ferreck Dawn reimagines Dolly’s Jolene

Written by on September 14, 2015

Dolly Parton classic gets reimagined by Dutch Dj and producer Ferreck Dawn.

Ferreck Dawn is back with another huge track, his version of Dolly Parton’s classic ‘Jolene’. This follows his recent hit Another Day and his crossover hits with Redondo, Something Else and Love to Deep.

Dawn beatuifully blends Latin beats to his signature deep house sound to bring heartbreak and country sentiments to the dancefloor. The classic vocals and melody is retained for maximium singability while the groove is sure to get you moving (like Dolly has before). This could be one of the big crossover tracks of the year.

Freek Coppens, AKA Ferreck Dawn has been active as a DJ and producer for more than 13 years. He has the support of some big guns in EDM including Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, The Magician, Steve Angello, Pete Tong and Tiësto.

Check out Dawn’s version below and keep listening to Massive to hear it across the day. We’re already getting loads of love for it! Also below is the original version from Dolly Parton.
