#Flashback Friday: Dmob & Cathy Dennis – C’mon and get my love

Remember this classic dance anthem from 1989/1990?

‘C’mon and get my love’ was a huge club and crossover hit for Dmob as the eighties rolled into the 90s. Topping the dance charts in the UK and the USA as well as #15 on the UK singles chart and #10 on the US hot 100 in early 1990, it was also responsible for making Cathy Dennis famous.

The song appeared in the film She-Devil, which starred Meryl Streep and Roseanne Barr.

The music video was directed by Marek Budzynski and was typical of the era – gotta love the fun they could have in a small studio in those days! Just the thing to put in a happy Friday mood.
