#Flashback Friday: Olive – You’re Not alone

Remember this classic dance anthem from 1996?

Not Alone was a huge hit for group known as Olive. Written by Tim Kellett and Robin Taylor-Firth and sung by Ruth-Ann Boyle, the track was originally released in 1996. It was then remixed and re-released in 1997 – that’s when it went to the top of the UK charts.

The original release featured remixes by Roni Size, X-Press 2, Tin Tin Out and Nightmares on Wax. The 1997 release attracted remixes from Oakenfold & Osborne, Rollo & Sister, Matthew Roberts and Ganja Kru.

Since then, Not Alone has been covered by a number of artists, including German trance DJ and producer ATB in 2002.
